Congratulations to the following teams for their outstanding play during the 2011 Fall Classic season.
These players and coaches are applauded for their hard work and dedication, and for increasing the level of play
within the PGSA. The PGSA Academy players and coaches are also commended for a successful season. Their
positive play and focus on individual development provide the foundation for future PGSA teams.
Great job Stars!
U12 99 Stars B - Completed an outstanding season in the competitive Open Division East with a 5-3-3 record.
U14 97 Stars B - Finished in the top half of the Second Division East while tying for most goals scored (35)
and allowing the second fewest goals (13) and notching a 4-2-1 record.

U-12 99 Stars Green G - Finished the season with a very respectable 4-4-3 record in the competitive Open East division placing 6th of 12 teams.
U-13 98 Stars G - Won the Open East 1 league with a 9-0-0 record while scoring an amazing total of 58 goals against just 3 goals allowed during the season.
U-14 97 Stars G - Won the First Division East with a 7-1-1 record and will become only the 2nd PGSA team to
play in the NC Premier League next season.
U-16 95 Stars G - Maintained their position in the First Division East with a 3-4-1 record while leading the league in goals scored (22).
U-17 94 Stars G - Lost a heartbreaker in the championship match of the NC State Cup after becoming the first PGSA team to play in the Region 3 East Division.

Thanks to CMI plastics for support of the local
soccer leagues! CMI Plastics, Inc. has named three new Champions to Victory for a Cause, an
awareness campaign dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. These new
Champions are welcomed into the Victory for a Cause community, which began in
the fall of 2010 in an effort to raise awareness of childhood cancer. |
