PGSA Adult League Registration Information

League is Co-ed, Recreational There will be an Open League available to anyone (male or female) who is at least 16 years old as of February 1, 2008. All players who played in 2007 PGSA Fall League are eligible to play in the Open League, regardless of age. There will be an Over 30 League, open to any male over 30 as of February 1, 2008, and any female who is at least 16 years old as of February 1, 2008. Players who meet eligibility requirements for both divisions can play in both divisions if registration fees for both divisions are paid. All players register as individuals. No team registration fees. Individual participation fee for each league is $65 per player. This includes $25 for 2008 NCASA registration. (NOTE: all players who played in the Fall PGSA Adult League must pay the $25 NCASA registration fee, which is good for the entire calendar year 2008.) The $25 NCASA registration fee will be waived if a player can provide a currently valid NCASA Player pass. If a person plays in both leagues, the total cost is $100. If a person has a currently valid NCASA Player pass, the fee is $75 to participate in both leagues. Players will be divided into teams by league administrators with the objective of creating balanced teams. Players can request participation with a particular team or other individuals, but the final decision on team assignments will be made by league administrators with the goal of creating balanced teams. Make checks payable to PGSA League play is scheduled to begin on Sunday, February 17, 2008. Games will be played on Sunday afternoons at the PGSA SoccerPlex. A tournament will follow regular season play. The entire season and tournament will end by mid May 2008. Games will be 7 aside with one player being the goalkeeper. All players must complete the Player Registration Form available on the PGSA website. The form can be found under ADULT LEAGUES on the PGSA website www.pgsasoccer.com Players should indicate their division preference on the registration form. This form must accompany payment of fees. Mail completed Player Registration Form and appropriate fee to Willie Nelms, 103 Squire Drive Winterville, NC 28590. Individual registration form and money should be received by 5 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2008, to assure participation. Onsite registration is also planned to be held at the PGSA SoccerPlex closer to the date of the beginning of the league.
