PGSA Youth Academy Information Meeting

Boy’ & Girl’s DOB between 8-1-1998 through 7-31-2001

The PGSA Youth Academy is strictly a player’s development program for U-8 to U-10 boys and girls. The PGSA Youth Academy’s philosophy is one of playing to learn the sport of soccer properly while minimizing the intense pressure to win. This philosophy is emphasized in every training session and match.

There will be a meeting on Wednesday, May 21st @ 7pm at Boyd Lee Park to present information and answer questions regarding this brand new program.

The PGSA announces a new soccer program for area YOUTH players starting in the Fall 2008.

The Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association (PGSA) Youth Academy is for U-8 to U-10 boys and girls and will be the key to our soccer programs on-going success. The PGSA is fully committed to the development of our players love for the game and fundamental skill development as a player.

The PGSA Youth Academy is strictly a player’s development program. The PGSA Youth Academy’s philosophy is one of playing to learn the sport of soccer properly while minimizing the intense pressure to win. This philosophy is emphasized in every training session and match. The PGSA Youth Academy coaching staff is specially selected and trained to provide this introduction to select soccer in an environment conducive to learning and having FUN!

Every training session will focus on technical ability of each player. The psychology of young players must focus on enjoyment of the sport.
